In walks the latest limited edition offering from Larrivee - the -03Z Series built with Zebrawood.

Zebrawood is imported from West Africa. The heartwood is a pale golden yellow, distinct from the very pale colour of the sapwood and features narrow streaks of dark brown to black. The contrast of the grain patterns is unlike anything we have seen. Even a glimpse of the side catches eyes from across the shop. Tonally, it has the low-end warmth and response of Indian Rosewood; while exhibiting the definition, clarity, and crisp trebles of a quality Mahogany. Open chords ring with presence, while trebles are airy and defined.

As with all the instruments in the -03 Series, this guitar is constructed of all solid wood in the Vancouver shop. It features a Sitka Spruce top, a single piece Mahogany Neck, and Ebony fretboard and bridge.
